STEP 03

STEP 04

Delivery & Review

Final deliverable provided with a follow-up discussion to address any questions.

Banking and Finance Documentation

§ 3.1 — Practice Area I

Banking & Finance Documentation

Review and drafting of facility agreements, security documents, and related banking documentation. The service is offered to both borrowers and lenders, with attention to clarity, risk allocation, and enforceability. Engagement terms and fee structures are discussed at the outset.

The firm approaches each banking matter with an understanding of how these documents function in practice — not only at signing, but in enforcement scenarios that may arise later. This awareness informs how terms are reviewed and how recommendations for redrafting are framed.

  • Facility agreement review (term loans, revolving credit, overdraft)
  • Security document drafting and perfection advice (charge, debenture, assignment)
  • Risk allocation and covenant review
  • Borrower and lender representation
  • Compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines

Indicative Fee

From RM 3,100

Intellectual Property Advisory

§ 3.2 — Practice Area II

Intellectual Property Advisory

Counsel on trademark, copyright, and industrial design matters, including registration advice, oppositions, and licence arrangements. Each matter begins with a review of the client's portfolio and objectives, followed by a written recommendation on appropriate steps.

The recommendation produced at the outset of each engagement is specific to the client's situation. It does not repeat standard registration guidance, but reflects an assessment of what the client actually holds, what commercial use is being made of those assets, and where the gaps are.

  • Trademark registration advice (MyIPO and international)
  • Opposition and cancellation proceedings
  • Copyright and industrial design counsel
  • IP licence agreement drafting and review
  • Portfolio review and gap analysis

Indicative Fee

From RM 1,700

Compliance and Regulatory Review

§ 3.3 — Practice Area III

Compliance & Regulatory Review

Assistance for organizations reviewing their compliance posture across relevant regulations. The engagement produces a structured report identifying considerations and recommended actions, allowing the client to prioritize as suits their circumstances.

The scope of each compliance review is agreed in advance — the firm does not deliver a standard template populated with generic findings. The report is organized to give the client a clear view of what requires attention first, and what can be addressed over a longer horizon.

  • Scoped compliance review across agreed regulations
  • Structured written report with prioritized recommendations
  • PDPA, AMLATFPUAA, and sector-specific regulation coverage
  • Follow-up discussion on report findings
  • Available for ongoing review engagements

Indicative Fee

From RM 2,900
